Colombia Valle Del Cauca

The prestigious Columbian coffee is well known for its exquisite taste and its special designations. This particular specialty coffee grows in the beautiful Valle del Cauca region of Western Colombia. Essentially a large area of independent towns with an interesting diversity as they are rural and mostly small. Our Valle del Cauca specialty roasted coffee beans come from local 3rd generation family farmers, excelled with the 1st & 3rd place at Cup of Excellence of 2018. 

At an altitude of 1950 metres above sea level, their Estate is located on a hilltop in the Central Andes, amid dozens of springs and a vast untouched mist forest. A unique microclimate of magnificent terroir and ideal environmental conditions that produce the highest quality coffee. Also allows the Estate masterfully to grow varieties like Red and Yellow Bourbon. The Red Bourbon especially, has flavours of red berries and sweet spices with exquisite acidity and sweetness. 

Expect a fuller bodied Columbia Valle del Cauca roasted coffee thanks to the natural sun dried process. A technique superior because coffee beans dry out at a natural pace. Maintaining the fruitiness of berries but revealing a silky medium body with a very savoury character from its Dark Berries. Enjoying a cup that brings out notes of nuts, cloves and caramel.
